(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자)인천시 미추홀도서관이 15일, 여름방학을 맞이해 독서교실, 방학특강 등 다양한 강좌 및 문화행사를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
도서관에 따르면, 7~8월 방학 동안 도서관을 찾는 학생들의 독서 의욕을 고취하고 교육문화 체험 기회를 제공하기 위해 그림책, 코딩, 다문화 등을 주제로 한 프로그램을 기획했다.
2024년 여름 독서교실 ‘책으로 만나는 연극 세상’은 초등 3~4학년을 대상으로 8월 5일부터 9일까지 5일간 진행된다.
이 프로그램은 책을 읽고 이야기를 새롭게 재구성하며 아이들의 창의성과 공감 능력을 향상하는 독서 연극 활동으로, 마지막 날에는 연극 발표와 함께 수료증 및 상장 수여식이 이루어질 예정이다.
여름방학 특별 강좌로는 초등 저학년 대상 ‘초등 교과서 속 그림책 놀이’를 8월 12일부터 20일까지 총 4회 운영하며, 초등 고학년 대상 ‘북아트로 만나는 한국사’를 8월 6일부터 20일까지 총 3회 운영한다.
초등 교과서에서 만나볼 수 있는 그림책을 활용해 독후 활동을 하고, 삼국시대 각 나라의 전성기와 대표 왕의 업적을 북아트로 만들어 보는 시간을 가질 예정이다.
전시 프로그램으로는 어울림터 전시실에서 8월 31일까지 이지미, 최민지 작가의 그림책 원화전이 열리며, 도서관 1층 로비에서는 7월에 ‘코뿔소 모자 씌우기’, 8월에 ‘우리 지금, 썸머’ 어린이 그림책 원화전시가 열린다.
이 밖에도 그림책을 바탕으로 코딩의 원리를 쉽게 배울 수 있는 ‘이야기가 있는 코딩’, 인하대 로스쿨과 함께 기본 3법에 대해 알아보는 ‘멘토플러스 어린이로스쿨’, 다양한 나라의 문화를 경험해 볼 수 있는‘다(多)가치 문화와 어울림’,‘다(多)가치 한국전통문화 체험’등 풍성한 방학을 보내기 위한 강좌와 문화행사들이 준비되어 있다.
