(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 1일, 일산화탄소 중독 자살예방을 위한 사회안전망 강화를 위해 인천송도국제캠핑장을 ‘생명사랑 캠핑장’으로 지정하고 지난 26일 현판식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, ‘생명사랑 캠핑장’지정은 전국 캠핑장을 대상으로 일산화탄소 중독 자살예방을 위한 안전관리 강화와 캠핑장 내 자살고위험군 발굴을 목적으로 추진됐다.
인천시는 생명사랑랑 캠핑장 지정으로 생명사랑 캠핑장 업주 및 종사자 대상 자살예방교육, 생명존중문화확산을 위한 인식개선 캠페인 등을 지원하고 관내 캠핑장?야영장을 대상으로 그 범위를 더욱 확대해나갈 예정이다.
전국 최초로 생명사랑 캠핑장 지정식이 진행된 인천 송도국제캠핑장에서는 인천시를 비롯해 대한캠핑장협회, 한국생명존중희망재단, 인천광역시자살예방센터, 연수구정신건강복지센터가 참여해 뜻깊은 자리를 가졌다.
이날 캠핑장 이용객을 대상으로 생명 존중 캠페인이 진행됐으며, OX 퀴즈와 마음 건강 검사를 통해 안전한 캠핑 문화를 즐길 수 있도록 인식개선 활동도 이뤄졌다.
