체코를 공식 방문한 윤석열 대통령이 19일(현지시간) 프라하성에서 가진 페트로 파벨 대통령과의 정상회담에서 '한·체코 정부가 우크라이나 재건 기업 사업을 지원'키로 합의했다.
양 정상이 임석한 가운데 양국 외교부 장관은 이날 오후 프라하성에서 우크라이나 재건 관련 개발 협력 및 인도적 지원 등 분야 협력 지지를 골자로 한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다.
내용을 보면 철도·도로·발전소·병원 등 인프라 재건에 필요한 높은 기술력을 보유한 한국 기업들과 우크라이나 진출 경험·네트워크가 풍부한 체코 기업이 상호 협력하는 방식이다.

윤 대통령은 이번 방문을 계기로 향후 체코와 원전을 넘어 무역·투자·첨단산업·과학기술·교통 인프라 등 분야로 협력 분야 확대를 위한 제도적 기반 구축에 주력할 방침이다.
더불어 중유럽 지역 주요 우방국이자 유럽연합(EU)·나토(NAT0·북대서양조약기구) 회원국 체코와 가치 기반 글로벌 파트너십 강화에 나설 계획이다.
