화성시, 개인형 이동장치 및 전기자전거 단속

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시는 주·정차 위반 개인형 이동장치(PM) 및 전기자전거 단속을 실시한다.

이는 최근 시민들의 공유 개인형 이동장치(PM)와 전기자전거 이용이 급증함에 따라, 주·정차 위반 문제로 인한 보행환경 저해와 안전사고 위험을 줄이기 위해 추진됐다.

23일부터 시는 동탄1·2지구부터 시범단속을 실시하고 단계적으로 단속 권역을 확대할 예정으로, 주요 단속 대상은 전용 주차장(개인형 모빌리티 주차장) 외 주·정차 금지구역에 주차된 주·정차 위반 PM 및 전기자전거이다.

시는 단속된 PM 및 전기자전거에 계고장을 붙이고 1시간 이내에 자진 수거가 이루어지지 않을 경우 견인조치하고 민간 PM업체에 견인료를 부과할 예정이다.

앞서 시는 민간업체의 개인형 이동장치(PM) 주·정차 위반 문제를 해결하기 위해 지난 6월 민간 PM 공유업체가 있는 동탄1·2지구 및 서남부권 택지지구에 주차거치대와 주차라인 등 개인형 이동장치 전용 주차장 400개소를 설치했다.
