[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시 대원2동은 로비에서 ATM 신규 설치 오픈식을 진행했다.
지난 19일 행사에는 이권재 오산시장, 유승민 농협중앙회 오산시지부장, 대원2동 단체장 및 입주자 대표 등이 참석해 시민들의 염원이 이루어진 것을 다 같이 축하했다.
현재 대원2동 임시청사는 도보거리 30분 이내에 시중 은행은 물론 단위 농협이나, 신협, 축협 등 금융서비스를 이용할 수 있는 금융기관과 ATM기가 전무한 상태였다.
이에 이권재 오산시장은 유승민 지부장과의 지속적인 면담을 통해 대원2동 청사 내 ATM기를 설치해 줄 것을 강력히 요구해 왔다.
지난 8월에는 대원2동 주민자치회 및 통장협의회 등 각 단체도 ATM기 이용에 대한 확실한 수요를 담보하기 위해 8천여 명의 주민 서명부를 농협중앙회 오산시지부에 방문 전달하여 설치에 힘을 보탰다.
그 결과 NH농협은행 오산시지부(지부장 유승민)는 대원2동 행정복지센터 로비홀 내에 입출금 및 공과금 납부 등의 각종 금융서비스를 365일 24시간 이용할 수 있는 ATM기(현금자동입출금기)를 9월 초에 설치 완료했다.
ATM기를 사용한 지역주민은 “매번 버스 타고 나가서 은행을 이용하는 게불편했었는데 이렇게 동 청사에 현금인출기가 설치되어 너무 편리해졌다”며“애써 주신 시장님과 농협은행 관계자분들께 감사하다”고 전했다.
한편 올해 1월 1일자로 대원동에서 분동하여 신설된 대원2동은 동부대로를 중심으로 동쪽지역(청호동, 고현동, 원동 일부 등)을 관할하고, 오산시 고현동 소재 더테라스퀘어오산 건물에 임시청사를 개청해 행정서비스를 제공하고 있다.
