지원 기준은 용인특례시에 2년 연속 주소를 두거나 경기도 내 비연속 5년 이상 주소를 두고 있어야 한다.
또, 용인특례시에서 최근 1년 이상 또는 경기도 내 연속 3년 이상 농업생산에 종사하거나 사업장을 운영하면서, 농어업경영체나 임업경영체에 농업인으로 등재돼야 한다.
농업 외 소득이 3700만원 이상이거나 공익직불금 부당수령자, 농민기본소득 지급대상자, 청년기본소득 지급대상자는 제외된다.
지원 대상자로 선정되면 월 15만원을 지역화폐로 지급한다.
2024년도 용인시 농어민 기회소득은 심사를 거쳐 월 15만원씩 4분기분인 45만원을 지역화폐로 지급한다. 지급시기는 올해 12월이다
