‘취약계층 아동 지원사업’을 위한 업무협약은 민·관이 협력해 광주시 취약계층 아동을 다양한 위기 상황으로부터 보호하고 건강한 성장을 지원하기 위해 4일 마련됐다.
이날 협약에 따라 양 기관은 ‘취약계층 아동 지원사업’을 공동으로 개발·추진하고 광주시가 취약계층 아동 사업 대상을 추천하면 초록우산 어린이재단은 아동에 후원금을 지급하게 된다.
특히, 경제적 지원뿐만 아니라 ‘복지 사각지대 아동 발굴’도 상호협력해 추진, 발굴된 위기 아동을 ‘아동 집중 사례관리’로 지원한다.
또한, 이번 협약에 따라 신규사업으로 ‘광주시 취약계층 아동 의복비 지원사업’을 추진하기로 하고 후원금 1천만 원을 취약계층 아동 30명에게 1인당 30만 원씩(다자녀 추가 자녀당 10만원) 후원하기로 했다.
