경기연구원, 연구사업토론회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기연구원은 지난 7일 양평 블룸비스타 호텔 그랜드 볼륨에서 ‘경기연구원(GRI) 연구사업토론회’를 개최했다.

2025년 연구계획 수립을 위한 이번 연구사업토론회는 ‘변화의 중심, 기회의 경기’를 실현하기 위한 주요 경기도 정책연구 방향과 한국 사회의 근본적인 문제 해결을 위한 15대 핵심 연구 분야의 추진 방안을 중심으로 진행했다.

경기연구원은 2024년부터 경기도의 주요 정책에 대한 연구와 함께 인구, 탄소중립, 인공지능(AI) 등 15대 핵심 연구분야를 선정해 선제적인 정책발굴을 위한 연구사업을 추진했다. 2025년에는 이러한 주요 정책 지원과 함께 한국 사회의 문제 해결을 위한 정책기능 강화를 위한 사업 계획을 심도 있게 고민하고 있다.

경기연구원 연구사업토론회에서는 경기도뿐만 아니라 한국사회 전반에 대한 다양한 진단과 해법을 공유하고 함께 토론하는 자리를 마련했다. 이를 위해 ‘자살하는 대한민국’의 김현성 작가와 ‘어나더 경제사’의 홍기빈 소장 등 한국사회의 문제를 진단하고 해결책을 제시한 외부 전문가를 초청해 북토크 형식으로 진행했다. 이어진 2025년 연구사업계획 토론에서는 2024년의 성과를 바탕으로 2025년의 주요 연구과제와 방향성을 공유하며 소통의 장을 마련했다. 특히 2024년부터 추진한 15대 핵심 연구 분야에 대한 지속적인 추진체계를 점검하고 선도적인 연구제안을 강화하기 위한 방안도 모색했다.
