광주시, ‘남한산성 스포츠타운’ 준공

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 ‘남한산성 스포츠타운’의 준공식을 오는 11일 개최한다.

8일 시에 따르면 남한산성 스포츠타운은 지난 3월 착공해 면적 1만5천65㎡에축구장(야구장 겸용) 1면과 게이트볼장(족구장 겸용) 1면, 50여 대의주차면 등이 조성됐다.

그동안 남한산성면에는 중첩규제로 인해 공공 체육시설 설치가 어려웠으나 주민들에게 건강증진과 여가선용 및 건전한 체육공간 조성을 위해 기존 남한산성면 운동장 부지에 체육시설 조성 사업을 진행했다.

특히, 2026∼2027 경기도 종합체육대회 유치 이후첫 번째 체육시설이 준공됐다는 점에 큰 의의가 있다.

이번 준공식에는 방세환 시장을 비롯한 소병훈 국회의원, 허경행 시의회 의장, 도·시의원 등 다수의 내빈이 참석해 지역주민들과 함께 뜻깊은 시간을 가질 예정이며 남한산성면민의 날과 함께 개최한다.
