평택시의회, 한미 어울림 축제 참석

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시의회가 ‘한미 어울림 축제’에 참석했다.

지난 12일부터 13일까지, 평택시 안정로 일원에서 열린 축제에 참석해 주한미군 가족들과 시민이 5만여 명이 어울려 상호 교류 문화 공연을 즐겼다.

개막식에는 ‘미8군 브라스밴드’와 ‘god 김태우’ 무대에 이어 한국의 전통 탈과 음악을 접목시킨 비보이, ‘코리아커넥션’등 다양한 공연을 선보였고 한국의 민속촌을 체험할 수 있는 한국문화존과 미국 게임과 카니발 체험이 가능한 미국 문화존을 운영했다.

한편 ‘2024 같이갑시다! 한미어울림축제’는 외교부, 경기도, 평택시가 주최하고 평택시국제교류재단이 주관하였으며, 세계 최대 해외 미군 주둔지인 평택에서 주한미군 가족과 평택 시민들이 어울려 한미 우호증진을 하기 위한 문화교류 프로그램으로 마련되었다.
