군포시가 ‘군포시 청년공간 플라잉’을 조성하고 개관식을 개최했다.
군포시는 지난 9월 30일 군포시 청년공간플라잉(번영로 314)에서 하은호 군포시장과 김귀근 군포시의회 의장, 시·도의원, 임대환 중앙청년지역센터장을 비롯한 지역 청년 대표 및 주민 등 150여명이 참석한 가운데 ‘군포시 청년공간 플라잉’ 개관식을 가졌다.
군포시 청년공간 플라잉은 총사업비 219억원(국비9억원, 도비60억원, 시비150억원)을 투입하여 지하2층, 지상4층의 연면적 6,356㎡ 규모로 지어진 청년을 위한 복합문화공간이다.
이날 행사는 재즈밴드 리스트리오의 식전 공연, 1부 개관식, 2부 디제잉 공연과 함께 플라잉 오픈 파티 순으로 진행됐다.
‘군포시 청년공간 플라잉’ 1층은 시민소통 공간. 청년카페 및 푸드코트, 커뮤니티 라운지 등으로 구성됐다. 2층은 청년지원 공간으로 다목적홀, 코워킹스페이스, 세미나실이 조성됐다. 3층은 청년인큐베이팅 공간으로 포토스튜디오, 메이커스페이스, 스터디룸, 컨설팅룸, 소회의실 등으로 꾸며졌다. 4층은 청년 자립 공간으로 독립형작업실 12실과 휴게공간, 공유주방, 마루연습실로 청년자립을 지원할 예정이다.

군포시 청년공간 플라잉은 개관식 다음날인 10월 1일부터 정식 운영을 시작했다. 시설별 운영시간, 이용 방법 등은 네이버 폼 예약시스템으로 예약하면 된다. 10월 한 달간은 개관기념 무료 대관이 가능하다.
하은호 군포시장은 “군포시 청년공간 플라잉이 앞으로 청년정책의 구심점이 돼 청년들이 도약할 수 있는 기반이 되기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 청년들이 통합적으로 이용할 수 있는 소통 공간이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
