이랜드그룹의 사회공헌 사업을 진행하는 이랜드 재단이 ‘굿럭굿잡 아카데미’를 열었다.
이랜드재단은 전국의 자립준비청년과 보호종료아동을 대상으로 진로 설정과 실질적인 취업 과정을 지원하는 ‘굿럭굿잡 아카데미’를 개설하고, 11월 1일 첫 교육 일정을 시작했다고 11월 4일 밝혔다.
이랜드재단에 따르면 '굿럭굿잡 아카데미'는 사회 진출에 어려움을 겪는 자립준비청년들이 진로와 취업에 필요한 기본 역량을 갖추고, 이랜드 핵심인재 교육을 통해 단기간에 실무 능력을 강화할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 기획됐다고 한다. 이번 아카데미에는 서류심사와 심층면접을 통해 선발된 총 7명의 자립준비청년들이 참여하며, 3개월간의 연수 과정으로 운영된다.
11월 1일부터 경기도 남양주시에 자리잡은 친환경 복합문화공간 '틔움티움 캠핑장'에서 진행된 1박 2일 OT 및 캠핑 프로그램은 각당복지재단 볼런티움과 협력해 이루어졌다. 참가자들은 △텐트 설치 도전과 조별 협동 과제 △전략적 문제 해결 트레이닝 △선배와의 대화 및 멘토링 △자기성찰 시간 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다.
특히 각당복지재단 이사장이자 동아알루미늄 회장인 라제건 이사장과 함께 진로와 삶에 대한 심도 있는 대화의 시간도 가졌다.
한 자립준비청년 "이번 캠핑 프로그램 참가를 통해 다른 자립준비청년들과 협동심을 느끼고, 고민을 나누며 공감대를 형성할 수 있어 매우 의미 있는 시간이었다"며, "앞으로의 아카데미 프로그램을 통해서도 같은 고민을 가진 청년들과 함께 진로를 모색하고, 취업에 대한 자신감을 얻을 수 있는 기회가 되길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
'굿럭굿잡 아카데미'는 향후 4주간 집중교육을 진행한다. 프로그램은 △자기소개서 작성과 모의 면접 등 실전 취업 준비 △비즈니스 매너와 커뮤니케이션 교육 △직장 적응을 위한 기본 소양 교육 △이랜드그룹의 차별화된 업무방식 훈련 △패션·건설·외식·유통·레저 등 이랜드그룹 산업군 체험 등으로 구성되어 있다.
이랜드재단은 집중교육 이후 2개월 동안 이랜드그룹 현직자가 참여하는 1:1 전문 코칭을 진행하고, 아카데미 수료자의 이랜드그룹 취업 연계를 추진할 계획이다. 또한 월 1회 네트워킹 모임을 통해 수료자들의 안정적인 직장생활 적응을 지원한다.
이랜드재단 정영일 대표는 "굿럭굿잡 아카데미는 자립준비청년이 단순히 생계를 위한 직업을 얻는 것을 넘어, 자신만의 소명과 비전을 찾아 온전한 자립을 이루고 사회에 기여하는 단계에 도달하도록 돕는 것을 목표로 한다"며, "일회성의 물질적 지원이 아닌, 청년들의 삶에 실질적인 변화를 가져오는 진정한 지원과 교육을 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
Eland Foundation Launches 'Good Luck Good Job Academy'

The Eland Foundation, the social contribution program of the Eland Group, has opened the 'Good Luck Good Job Academy'.
The Eland Foundation announced on Nov. 4 that it has opened the 'Good Luck Good Job Academy' to support young people preparing for independence and children leaving care across the country with career planning and practical job hunting, and started the first training schedule on Nov. 1.
According to the foundation, the Good Luck Job Academy is designed to help young people who are struggling to enter the workforce gain the basic competencies needed for career and employment, and strengthen their practical skills in a short period of time through the training of Eland's core talents. A total of seven self-reliant youths selected through document screening and in-depth interviews will participate in the academy, which will run for three months.
The one-day and two-night OT and camping program, held from November 1 at 'Tumtium Campground,' an eco-friendly complex cultural space located in Namyangju City, Gyeonggi-do, was held in cooperation with the Gakdang Welfare Foundation Volunteer Center. The participants participated in various programs such as tent installation challenges and group collaboration tasks, strategic problem-solving training, conversations and mentoring with seniors, and self-reflection time:
In particular, they had in-depth conversations about career and life with Mr. Rajegun, Chairman of the Gakdang Welfare Foundation and Chairman of Dong-A Aluminum.
“It was very meaningful to feel a sense of cooperation with other self-reliant youth through participating in this camping program, and to share our worries and form a sense of empathy,” said a self-reliant youth. ”I look forward to the future academy programs to explore career paths with youth with the same concerns and gain confidence in employment.”
The Good Luck Good Job Academy will be held over the next four weeks. The program consists of practical job preparation such as writing a cover letter and mock interviews, business manners and communication training, basic skills training to adapt to the workplace, training on the differentiated work style of Eland Group, and experiences in Eland Group's industries such as fashion, construction, dining, retail, and leisure.
For two months after the intensive training, the Eland Foundation will provide one-on-one professional coaching by Eland Group's current employees, and will connect academy graduates with employment at Eland Group. It will also support the graduates' stable adaptation to work life through monthly networking meetings.
“The Good Luck Good Job Academy aims to help young people who are ready to become self-reliant not just get a job to make a living, but to find their own calling and vision and reach a stage where they can achieve full independence and contribute to society,” said Young-il Jung, CEO of the Eland Foundation. ”We will do our best to provide genuine support and education that makes a real difference in the lives of young people, not just one-time material support.”
