세종시가 지역의 핵심 산업을 육성하고 중소기업의 성장과 혁신을 촉진하기 위한 정부의 대규모 프로젝트인 중소벤처기업부 주관 지역특화 프로젝트 ‘레전드50+ 2.0’ 사업에 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.
‘레전드50+ 2.0’ 사업에 선정된 세종시는 내년도 국비 35억 원 투입을 시작으로 3년간 지능형 모빌리티 부품과 기능성 바이오 소재 분야의 지역 기업들을 적극 지원할 계획이다.
이를 위해 세종시는 지역 기업의 시장 점유율 확대 지원 ,글로벌 기술 경쟁력 강화 ,예비선도 기업의 기술·시장 확대 지원 등 세 가지 주요 전략을 중점 추진한다.
이를 통해 산업 생태계 전반의 고도화와 신시장 개척을 위한 포괄적인 지원을 제공할 예정이다.
앞서 세종시는 지난 6일부터 이번 프로젝트에 참여할 기업의 모집을 시작했다.
오는 21일부터 27일까지 7일간 본격적인 접수를 통해 오는 12월 지원 기업을 최종 선정하고 내년 2월부터는 본격적인 기업 지원에 나설 계획이다.
