한국네팔국제교류협회(윤종선 이사장)는 12월9일 보도자료에서 “한국네팔국제교류협회는 오는 12월 16일 부산상공회의소 국제관에서 2024 투자세미나 개최된다” 밝혔다.

이 자료 따르면, 공동주최 주관 기관인 주한네팔대사관과 한국네팔국제교류협회는 한국네팔 수교 50주년을 기념하여 양국간 다양한 분야 민간 교류와 기업 투자 환경 설명과 향후 방향을 모색할 수 있는 실질적인 파트너십을 위한 뜻깊은 시간을 마련하였다고 밝혔다.
한국과 네팔은 1974년 수교 이래 무역, 투자, SOC인프라투자, 국제개발협력 등 다양한 분야에서 긴밀한 우호협력 관계를 발전시켜 왔으며 이번 세미나를 계기로 고용, 인적교류, 문화 관광, 농업 등 여러 분야에서도 활발히 교류해 협력 확대가 기대된다.
한국네팔국제교류협회 김용수 상임대표는 “오는 19일 네팔산업통상부 장관과 네팔 상공회의소 회장, 주한네팔대리대사 등 다수의 네팔 기업인들이 한국을 방문해 양국이 미래 동반자로 기업간 우호증진과 경제 부흥을 위한 부산에서 투자세미나를 개최하게 되었다.”고 강조했다.
김성훈 주한네팔대사관 국제교류협력관은 “K-POP, K-푸드, K-뷰티 K-콘텐츠 산업의 인기가 전 세계로 뻗어 나가고 있는 지금 부산형 K-콘텐츠 산업을 고도화 시키고 다양한 국제행사 유치를 통해 글로벌 도시 부산의 특색있는 문화관광 컨텐츠을 기반으로 기업의 해외 시장 진출이 확대돼 부산 경제를 활성화 시켜야 한다.”고 피력했다.
