의왕시, ‘2024년 의왕시 평생교육협의회’ 개최

의왕시가 지난 12월 4일 시청 중회의실에서 평생교육 관계자 및 기관장 등 7명의 위원들이 참석한 가운데 ‘2024년 의왕시 평생교육협의회’를 개최했다.

이번 협의회에서는 2024년 사업추진 성과 및 2025년 평생교육 주요사업 계획이 발표되고, 의왕시 평생교육 발전을 위한 심도 있는 토의가 진행됐다.

이날 의왕시 평생교육협의회 위원들은 장애 유형별 평생교육, 학부모 대상 평생교육 강화, 의왕아카데미 추진 방향 등 다양한 의견을 제시하며, 의오아시 평생교육의 질적 향상과 확대 방안에 대해 논의했다.

위원들은 올해 평생학습축제, 학생축제, 평생대학 성과공유회를 통합해 추진한 ‘에듀의왕 어울림축제’에 대해 여러 세대가 함께 모여 배움의 즐거움을 나누는 장을 마련해 세대 간 화합과 소통을 이루는 뜻깊은 행사로 평가했다.

조지현 의왕시 평생교육원장은 “이번 협의회를 통해 제안된 다양한 의견을 바탕으로 시민 맞춤형 평생교육 시스템을 구축하고, 각 기관과의 유기적인 연계를 통해 시민이 행복한 명품 평생학습도시를 조성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
