충남 서산시가 지역사회의 발전을 위해 헌신한 시민들을 기리기 위해 제30회 서산시 시민대상 시상식을 지난 9일 베니키아 호텔에서 성황리에 개최했다.
이번 시상식에서는 교육·문화 및 체육진흥, 사회봉사, 사업 및 지역 개발, 효행 및 선행, 애향 및 지역 선양 등 5개 부문에서 각 1명의 수상자를 선정하여 총 3명의 시민에게 상패가 전달되었다.
이완섭 서산시장은 시상식에 참석한 수상자와 그 가족, 시민 등 100여 명과 함께 지역사회의 발전을 위해 노력한 이들의 노고를 치하했다. 수상자는 김선호 씨, 김인숙 씨, 양희영 씨로, 각기 다른 분야에서의 공로가 인정받았다.
김선호 씨는 서산시 체육회 자문위원으로 활동하며 지역 체육 발전과 생활체육 활성화에 기여한 공로로 교육·문화 및 체육진흥 부문에서 수상했다.
김인숙 씨는 대한적십자사 서산지구협의회 회장으로서 지역 내 필요한 곳에 온정의 손길을 전하는 봉사활동으로 사회봉사 부문에서 영예를 안았다.
마지막으로, 프로골프 선수 양희영 씨는 지난 6월 KPMG 여자 PGA 챔피언십에서의 우승과 파리올림픽 국가대표로서의 활약으로 애향 및 지역 선양 부문에서 선정되었다.

Seosan City Holds 30th Citizen Awards Ceremony -
Expressing Gratitude to Citizens Who Contributed to Community Development
Seosan City, Chungcheongnam-do held the 30th Seosan City Citizen Awards Ceremony at Benikea Hotel on the 9th to honor citizens who have dedicated themselves to the development of the community.
At this awards ceremony, one winner was selected in each of the five categories: Education, Culture, and Sports Promotion, Social Service, Business and Regional Development, Filial Piety and Good Deeds, and Love for Hometown and Regional Promotion, and a total of three citizens were awarded plaques.
Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop praised the efforts of those who worked for the development of the community along with the winners, their families, and about 100 citizens who attended the awards ceremony. The winners were Kim Seon-ho, Kim In-sook, and Yang Hee-young, who were recognized for their contributions in different fields.
