유진그룹의 모회사 유진기업(대표이사 최종성)이 ESG 경영 실천에 앞장서고 있다.
12월 12일 유진기업은 송도공장이 12월 9일 인천시청에서 열린 ‘2025년 환경관리 우수기업 지정식 및 간담회’에서 환경관리 우수기업으로 지정됐다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 인천광역시가 주최하며, 환경관리 우수기업 9곳에 대한 지정서 전달과 자율적 환경관리 활성화 방안을 논의하는 자리였다. 유진기업 송도공장은 대기, 폐수, 소음ㆍ진동, 폐기물 등 다양한 환경 분야에서 우수한 관리 실적을 인정받았다. 특히 비산먼지 억제, 폐기물 감축, 온실가스 배출 차감 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
송도공장은 정기적인 도로 청소와 빗물 재활용, 세륜수 100% 재사용 등 친환경적 운영을 통해 지역 환경 개선에 기여하고 있다. 한남진 송도공장장은 “이번 지정은 자율적 환경관리와 꾸준한 실천의 결과”라며, “앞으로도 친환경 경영을 통해 지역사회와 함께 성장하겠다”고 밝혔다.
유진기업 송도공장은 2007년 인천광역시 환경관리 우수기업으로 첫 선정 이후 19년째 이 영예를 이어오고 있다.

Yujin Corporation (CEO Choi Jong-sung), the parent company of Yujin Group, is taking the lead in practicing ESG management.
On December 12, Yujin announced that its Songdo plant was designated as an excellent environmental management company at the '2025 Environmental Management Company Designation Ceremony and Meeting' held on December 9 at Incheon City Hall.
The event was hosted by the Incheon Metropolitan City to deliver designations to nine companies with excellent environmental management and discuss ways to revitalize voluntary environmental management. Yujin's Songdo Plant was recognized for its excellent management performance in various environmental fields, including air, wastewater, noise and vibration, and waste. In particular, it received high praise for controlling fugitive dust, reducing waste, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The Songdo plant contributes to the improvement of the local environment through eco-friendly operations such as regular road cleaning, recycling rainwater, and reusing 100% of its used tires. “This designation is the result of our voluntary environmental management and steady practice,” said Han Nam-jin, President of Songdo Plant. ”We will continue to grow together with the local community through eco-friendly management.”
Yujin's Songdo Plant has been honored for 19 years since it was first selected as an excellent company for environmental management in Incheon Metropolitan City in 2007.
