군포시가 경기도가 실시한 ‘위기 이웃 발굴 및 민관협력’ 평가에서 장려상을 수상했다고 지난 12월 17일 밝혔다.
군포시는 지난 1년간 위기 이웃 발굴 지원, 통합사례관리 운영, 경기도 긴급복지 위기 상담 콜센터와 복지 멤버십을 운영·지원 실적 등 복지 사각지대 및 위기가구를 선제적으로 발굴 노력 등을 종합적으로 평가 받아 ‘장려상’의 영예를 안았다.
경기도는 31개 시·군을 대상으로, 위기 이웃 발굴 활성화와 민관협력 강화를 위해 매년 실시하고 있다.
군포시는 지역 내 다양한 어려움을 겪는 이웃을 찾아내고 맞춤형 지원을 제공하는데 노력하고 있으며 촘촘한 인적 안전망을 구축하기 위해 명예사회복지공무원 1,100명과 지역사회보장협의체 위원 371명이 활동하고 있다.
군포시는 현재 위기 이웃 발굴을 지속하고 있다. 겨울철은 한파로 인한 계절형 실업, 난방비 부담 증가로 취약계층의 어려움이 늘어나는 시기인 점을 감안해 월세취약가구 중 단전, 단수, 단가스, 전기료체납, 통신비체납, 금융연체 위기정보 입수된 겨울철 취약계층에 대해 집중 발굴하고 지원할 예정이다.
하은호 군포시장은 “앞으로도 위기 이웃 발굴을 위해 민관협력을 강화해 지역주민에게 촘촘하고 더 나은 복지서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Gunpo City was given the honor of the ‘Encouragement Award’ after comprehensively evaluating its efforts to proactively discover blind spots in welfare and households in crisis, including support for discovering neighbors in crisis, operating integrated case management, and operating and supporting the Gyeonggi Province Emergency Welfare Crisis Counseling Call Center and welfare membership over the past year.
