한설 예비역 장군(육군 소장)은 12월26이 페이스북 계정에 “윤석열의 친위쿠데타의 가장 핵심적인 문제는 문민통제의 원칙이 제대로 작동하지 않았다는 것”이라는 제목의 글을 게재했다. 이 글에서 “대통령은 군통수권자이다. 대통령이 명령한 것을 국방장관이 다시 지시하면 이를 수행하는 것이 군대의 당연한 역할” 이라면서 “명령을 수행한 군인들에게 책임을 묻는 것은 옳지 않다”라고 피력했다.
