[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 13일 농업기술센터에서 ‘농산물종합가공센터 운영위원회’ 정기회의를 열고, 지난해 성과를 점검하며 2025년 추진 계획을 논의했다.

운영위원회는 농업기술센터 소장을 위원장으로 농산물 가공 창업 지원 및 기술 자문, 센터 운영 평가 등을 심의한다.

회의는 농업인들의 가공 창업 교육 성과와 가공시설을 활용한 시제품 및 판매용 제품 현황을 점검하고, 농업인의 창업 기반을 마련하기 위한 방안을 모색했다.

조해숙 농업기술센터 소장은 "농산물종합가공센터를 통해 농업인들의 소득 증대와 지역 농산물 소비 촉진에 힘쓸 것"이라고 말했다.

한편 진주시 농산물종합가공센터는 797㎡ 규모로, 농업인들이 재배한 농산물을 활용해 가공상품을 개발하고 창업을 지원하는 역할을 한다.
