브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 파면을 촉구하며 단식 농성을 벌이던 민형배 더불어민주당 의원이 18일 건강 악화로 병원에 이송됐다.
정치권에 따르면 민형배 의원은 서울 종로구 광화문 광장에서 단식 농성을 이어가던 중 단식 8일째인 이날 건강이 급속도로 악화돼 119구급차량에 실려 병원으로 이송됐다.
앞서 민 의원을 비롯해 '윤석열 탄핵 야5당 국회의원 연대'(탄핵연대) 소속 민주당 김준혁·박수현·위성곤 의원과 윤종오 진보당 의원 등은 지난 11일 윤 대통령에 대한 파면을 촉구하는 단식 농성을 시작했다.
박수현 의원은 이날 오전 페이스북에 민 의원의 사진을 게재하며 "걱정하던 일이 일어났다. 단식 8일째 쇠약 상태에서, 광주 동지의 비보에 내내 슬픔에 잠겨 잠 못 이루던 민 의원이 끝내 119로 병원으로 이송됐다"고 전했다.
박 의원은 이어 "눈이 쏟아지던 간밤에 발전기 고장으로 인한 극심한 추위도 더욱 상태를 악화시킨 것 같다"며 "민 의원님, 걱정하지 마시고 쾌유하시기 바란다. '탄핵연대' 태동에 산파 역할을 해주실 '뜨거운 뜻'은 매섭게 이어가겠다"고 덧붙였다.
