[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 행정안전부 주관 ‘2024 재난대응 안전한국훈련 유공 정부포상’ 평가에서 국무총리 표창을 수상했다고 28일 밝혔다.
시는 또 2023, 2024년 2년 연속 재난대응 안전한국훈련 우수기관으로 선정되는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
재난대응 안전한국훈련은 재난 및 안전관리 기본법에 따라 재난대응체계를 확립하기 위해 2005년부터 실시해 온 전국 단위 종합훈련이다. 지난해는 중앙부처, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 335개 기관이 참여했다.
시는 지난해 5월 20일 20개 기관ㆍ단체와 주민 250여명이 참여한 가운데 그해 10월 김해를 주 개최지로 열리는 전국(장애인)체전 대비 위험도가 높은 재난유형을 선정해 이뤄졌다.
‘진영스포츠센터 도시가스 밸브스테이션 공사 중 가스 누출 폭발로 건물 붕괴, 화재 발생 상황’을 가정해 현장 훈련은 진영스포츠센터, 토론훈련은 시청 재난종합상황실에서 동시에 진행했다.
특히 시는 기관장 관심도와 지휘 역량, 관계기관과 민간기업 적극적인 훈련 참여, 재난안전통신망(PS-LTE) 활용도, 재난현장을 방불케 한 훈련 진행, 훈련 장소 주변 안전관리 등 17개 평가지표에 따라 사전 준비부터 사후 처리까지 모두 평가위원으로부터 높은 점수를 받았다.
홍태용 시장은 “이번 성과는 시는 물론 관계기관과 민간단체, 기업, 지역주민들이 한마음 한뜻으로 훈련을 준비하고 적극적으로 참여해 거둔 값진 결과”라며 “관계기관과 빈틈없는 협력체계를 유지해 각종 재난으로부터 시민 생명과 재산을 지키겠다”고 말했다.
한편 시의 안전한국훈련 담당자 역시 앞서 2024년 안전정책 및 생활안전 유공 국무총리 표창을 수상하며 시의 우수한 안전 역량을 대외적으로 인정받고 있다. 2025년 재난대응 안전한국훈련은 오는 5월 말 풍수해에 대비한 훈련으로 진행할 계획이다.
