[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 3일 김해시청에서 쿠팡로지스틱스서비스(유), 고용노동부 양산지청과 함께 관내 양질의 일자리 창출과 입주기업의 원활한 인력 채용을 지원하기 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 박종환 김해시 경제국장을 비롯해 이정웅 쿠팡로지스틱스서비스 상무이사, 김명환 김해고용복지+센터 소장이 참석해 기관 간 협력 강화와 지역 산업 활성화 방안을 논의했다.
협약 기관들은 구직자와 기업을 효과적으로 연결하고 안정적인 일자리 환경 조성을 위해 긴밀히 협력할 계획이다.
특히 김해시는 쿠팡로지스틱스서비스에 채용지원서비스를 제공하고 협업을 통해 일자리 창출 사업을 공동 발굴한다.
쿠팡은 지난 2월 김해시와 AI 기술 기반 스마트물류센터 구축을 위한 투자협약을 체결했다.
앞으로 김해 안동지역에 1,930억원을 투자해 첨단물류시스템을 구축해 경남도 내 새벽·당일배송 지역을 확대한다.
안동 스마트물류센터는 오는 4월 중순을 시작으로 순차적인 운영 개시를 앞두고 있다.
스마트물류센터가 전체 가동을 완료하게 되면 약 1,450개 신규 일자리 창출로 지역경제 활성화에 크게 기여할 전망이다.
박종환 경제국장은 “이번 협약이 기업과 구직자를 효과적으로 연결하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “김해시가 양질의 일자리 창출과 고용 안정에 앞장설 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
김명환 소장은 “앞으로도 관내 일자리 유관기관이 협업하여 기업과 구직자가 보다 나은 고용서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 김해시는 지역 경제와 민생 안정을 위한 맞춤형 고용 창출 정책으로 구인·구직 만남의 날, 희망일자리버스 운영사업, 채용박람회, 신중년 취업상담사 권역별 배치사업 등 구직자와 기업이 상생할 수 있는 다양한 일자리 지원사업을 펼치고 있다.
