세종시가 개발제한구역(GB, Green Belt) 내 주민들의 소득 증대와 시민들의 여가활동 공간 확충을 위한 새로운 시도를 추진한다.
이를 위해 세종시는 야영장과 실외체육시설 사업자를 공개 모집한다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 공모는 개발제한구역 내 유휴부지를 활용해 지역 경제를 활성화하고, 시민들에게 자연 속에서 여가를 즐길 수 있는 공간을 제공하기 위한 것으로, 각각 1곳씩 총 2곳의 사업자를 선정할 예정이다.
사업 신청 자격은 마을 공동체가 함께 추진하거나, 개발제한구역 내에서 10년 이상 거주했거나 해당 구역 지정 당시부터 거주하고 있는 주민으로 제한된다.
지역 밀착형 사업자로 하여금 개발제한구역의 특성을 살린 자연친화적 시설을 조성하도록 유도하기 위한 취지다.
신청은 오는 5월 12일부터 23일까지 세종시청 도시과에 직접 방문해 접수하면 된다.
세종시는 접수된 사업계획서를 바탕으로 신청 자격 적정 여부와 사업계획 타당성 등을 심사할 예정이다. 특히 신청자가 2명 이상일 경우에는 공모 공고문에 명시된 세부 평가 기준에 따라 최종 사업자를 선정한다. 결과는 오는 6월 중 개별 통지될 계획이다.
