(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시가 오는 5월 5일 제103회 어린이날을 맞아 인천어린이과학관에서 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 과학문화축제 ‘꿈꾸는 어린이’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 행사는 ‘미래를 꿈꾸는 어린이’를 주제로, 어린이들이 가족과 함께 과학에 대한 꿈을 키우고 행복한 추억을 만들 수 있도록 다채로운 체험 프로그램과 신선한 볼거리가 마련된다.
축제 현장에서는 로봇 축구 체험, 드론 체험, 가상현실(VR) 체험, 삐에로 풍선, 증강현실(AR) 사진 촬영, 타이탄 로봇 공연, 로봇 강아지 공연 등 인천어린이과학관만의 특색 있는 체험이 진행된다.
체험 공간은 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 운영되며, 시민 누구나 현장 접수를 통해 무료로 참여할 수 있다.
또, 기획전시실에서는 기초과학, 공학, 예술을 융합한 통합체험전시 ‘과학+α’ 특별전이 열린다.
이 전시는 힘과 운동, 과학주제 만들기, 과학 그림 그리기 등 과학 원리를 다양하게 체험할 수 있는 공간으로 구성되어 있으며, 사전 예약 없이 누구나 무료로 입장할 수 있다.
행사 당일에는 사전 예약자에 한해 상설전시관 및 주차장이 무료로 개방될 예정이며, 상설전시관 관람을 위한 사전예약은 인천어린이과학관 누리집을 통해 신청할 수 있다.

또한, 인천시 미추홀도서관 및 분관(청라호수·청라국제·영종하늘·마전·송도국제기구도서관)이 2일, 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 공연, 작가와의 만남, 특강 등 다양한 문화행사를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
미추홀도서관에 따르면, 5월 10일 세미나실1(3층)에서 종이비행기 국가대표 김영준 선수를 초청해 ‘위플레이, 종이비행기’ 공연을 연다.
이번 행사에서는 김영준 선수가 국가대표가 되기까지의 도전과정과 경험을 직접 들려주며, 참가자들과 함께 종이비행기 접기 및 대회도 진행할 예정이다.
또, 세계인의 날 (5월 20일)을 기념해 5월 24일에는 ‘어울림 축제’를 열고 인디언 텐트, 사군자 부채 만들기 등 다양한 문화 체험을 운영할 예정이다.
청라호수도서관에서는 5월 17일과 24일, 0~6세 아동 부모를 대상으로 ‘우리 아이 발달을 돕는 언어 자극놀이’ 특강을 진행한다.
