충남 계룡시가 지난 9일부터 11일까지 3일간, 지역 대표 문화유산인 사계고택에서 개최한 ‘제2회 사계문화제’를 성공적으로 마무리했다.
이번 행사는 조선시대 예학의 거목인 김장생 선생의 정신을 기리는 동시에, 시민과 방문객이 전통문화를 직접 체험하며 계룡의 정체성을 새롭게 조명하는 자리로 마련됐다.
계룡시가 후원하고 계룡문화원이 주관한 이번 축제는 문화유산의 현대적 활용 가능성을 모색하는 데 중점을 두고 기획됐다. 첫날 문을 연 개막공연에서는 계룡시립예술단이 선보인 ‘왕대백중놀이’가 관람객들의 이목을 사로잡으며 축제 분위기를 고조시켰다.
행사 기간 동안 현장을 찾은 관람객들은 널뛰기, 비석치기 등 전통놀이를 비롯해 어린이 대상 예절 교육, 벼룩시장, 팔씨름 대회 등 세대 간 소통을 유도하는 다양한 프로그램을 경험했다.
