충남 금산군이 미래 농업의 주역이 될 청년들을 대상으로 ‘충남형 스마트팜 사관학교’ 임대 운영에 나선다. 군은 오는 6월 5일까지 해당 시설의 임차인을 모집한다고 27일 밝혔다.
임대 대상은 군북면 내부리 일대에 새롭게 조성된 2연동 시설하우스 2개 동이다. 이번 스마트팜 하우스는 지난해 충남도 농업기술원과 군이 협력해 구축한 것으로, 첨단 농업 환경을 갖춘 점이 특징이다.
해당 시설에는 양액제어 공급 시스템을 비롯해 난방, 관수, 그리고 ICT(정보통신기술) 기반 생육환경 제어 장비까지 갖춰져 있어 작물의 안정적인 재배와 관리가 가능하다. 청년 농업인들이 실제 영농 현장에서 고도화된 기술을 직접 체험하며 경작할 수 있는 기반을 마련한 셈이다.
모집 대상은 신청 연도 기준 만 18세 이상 45세 이하의 금산군 거주 청년농업인이다. 다만, 현재 타 지역에 거주하더라도 임대 계약 전까지 군으로 전입이 가능하다면 신청 자격이 주어진다.
참여를 희망하는 청년은 금산군청 또는 금산군농업기술센터 누리집에서 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 뒤, 농업기술센터 기술지원과에 직접 방문하거나 우편으로 접수하면 된다.
금산군 관계자는 “이번 스마트팜 임대는 청년농업인들에게 실전 영농 기술을 익히는 소중한 기회가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 보다 경쟁력 있는 농업 환경을 조성하기 위해 지속적인 시설 개선과 지원을 이어갈 계획”이라고 전했다.
