(브레크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천본부세관이 9일, 여름 휴가철을 맞아, 물놀이용품(수영복, 튜브 등)과 레저·캠핑 용품(구명복, 전기살충기)등 불법행위가 우려되는 품목(14개)에 대해 2달간(6.10.~8.10.) 집중 검사를 시행할 것이라고 밝혔다.
인천세관에 따르면, 동 기간 동안 수입이 증가할 것으로 예상되는 품목에 대한 검사강화로 세관장확인사항 위반, 품목분류 및 세율 적용 위반, 수량·중량 상이 여부 등을 집중점검할 예정이다.
특히, 어린이용 튜브, 물놀이 완구와 전기 살충제·모기채 등을 수입하고자 하는 자는 「어린이제품 안전 특별법」, 「전기용품 및 생활용품 안전관리법」 및 「전파법」 등에 따라 안전인증기관의 확인을 받고 수입신고 해야하며, 해당 제품에 대한 안전인증표시를 하여야한다.
인천본부세관은 수요 집중 품목에 대해 안전인증 여부, 원산지 적정 표시, 상표권 침해, 품목분류 위반 등을 중점 확인하고 앞으로도 일정 기간 동안 수요가 급증할 우려가 있는 품목을 집중 관리하여 불법 수입물품의 국내 반입을 통관단계에서 차단할 수 있도록 검사를 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
