(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 10일, 미래 행정수요에 대응하고 노후화된 공공시설 문제를 해결하기 위해 신청사 건립, 인천애뜰 공영주차장 조성, 루원복합청사 건립 등 대규모 공공시설 사업을 차질 없이 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 신청사 건립 사업은 2023년 1월부터 2028년 12월까지 총사업비 4,957억 원을 투입해 시청 운동장 부지에 연면적 80,417㎡, 지하 4층~지상 15층 규모로 조성된다.
인천시는 신청사를 통해 분산된 행정업무를 집중화해 행정 효율성을 높이고 시민 문화·복지·소통 기능이 어우러진 복합공간으로 조성할 계획이다.
지난해 중앙투자심사 2단계를 통과한 데 이어, 올해 4월 착공계를 제출했으며, 오는 6월 12일 착공식을 개최하고 2028년 12월 준공을 목표로 하고 있다.
인천애뜰 공영주차장 조성사업은 총 359억 1천만 원의 예산을 투입해 연면적 2만 570㎡, 지하 3층 규모로 총 635대의 차량을 수용할 수 있다.
