세종시가 제4인터넷전문은행 유치를 위한 첫걸음을 내딛었다.
이를 위해 세종시는 12일 시청 5층 세종실에서 소소뱅크 설립준비위원회와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, 세종시 본사 설립 및 지역경제 상생 협력을 약속했다.

협약에 따라 소소뱅크는 세종시에 본사를 두고, 지역 소상공인과 주민을 위한 맞춤형 혁신 금융 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 세종시는 이에 필요한 행정적 지원과 협력 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
소소뱅크는 전국 850만 명의 업무협약(MOU) 회원을 보유한 소상공인 특화 인터넷전문은행으로, 지난 3월 금융당국에 인가 신청서를 공식 제출했다. 현재 소상공인연합회를 포함한 38개 단체 및 50여 개 유관기관이 설립준비위원회에 참여하고 있어, 업계와 정책 당국의 주목을 받고 있다.
