(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 17일, 다문화가정을 대상으로 다국어(영어·중국어·베트남어) 자막 아동학대 예방 구연동화 영상을 제공한다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 영상 속 구연동화는 ‘우리집 막내 오리 이야기’로, 못나보였던 막내 오리가 다른 아이들처럼 예쁘고 소중한 존재였다는 사실을 어른들에게 인정받고 몸과 마음 모두 건강한 어른으로 자란다는 이야기를 담고 있다.
부평구는 이 영상을 통해 다문화가정 아동과 보호자의 아동학대에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
영상 자막 번역에는 구 다문화가족지원센터의 최세라(영어), 송청화(중국어), 보티녹융(베트남어)씨가 힘을 보탰다.
앞서 부평구는 지난해 아동과 보호자가 아동학대 유형과 피해 시 대처 방법을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 ‘우리집 막내 오리 이야기’ 구연동화 영상을 제작한 바 있다.
제작은 지역주민과 기관 봉사자들의 재능기부로 이뤄졌으며, 방혜정 부평2동 지역사회보장협의체 위원이 구연동화 영상 제작 및 교육에 강사로 참여했다.
부평구 관계자는 “언어의 장벽없이 모든 아동이 존중받고 건강하게 자랄 수 있는 부평을 만들기 위해 앞으로도 노력해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
해당 영상은 구 누리집에서 누구나 볼 수 있으며 부평구는 영상을 다문화가족지원센터 등 관련기관에 배포해 교육자료로 활용할 계획이다.

Bupyeong-gu announced on the 17th that it will provide a video of a child abuse prevention oral story with subtitles in multiple languages (English, Chinese, Vietnamese) for multicultural families.
According to Bupyeong-gu, the oral story in the video is 'The Story of Our Youngest Duck', which contains the story of a duck that seemed ugly but was recognized by adults as a pretty and precious being like other children, and grew into a healthy adult both physically and mentally.
Bupyeong-gu expects that this video will help increase understanding of child abuse among children and guardians from multicultural families.
The translation of the video subtitles was helped by Choi Se-ra (English), Song Cheong-hwa (Chinese), and Boti Nok-yung (Vietnamese) from the former Multicultural Family Support Center.
Previously, Bupyeong-gu produced a storytelling video titled “The Story of Our Youngest Duck” last year to help children and their guardians easily understand the types of child abuse and how to respond when they are victims.
The production was made possible through talent donations from local residents and volunteers from organizations, and Bang Hye-jeong, a member of the Bupyeong 2-dong Community Security Council, participated as an instructor in the production and education of the storytelling video.
A Bupyeong-gu official said, “We will continue to work hard to create a Bupyeong where all children can grow up healthily and respected without language barriers.”
The video can be viewed by anyone on the district’s website, and Bupyeong-gu plans to distribute the video to related organizations such as the Multicultural Family Support Center and use it as educational material.
