(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 19일 ‘중동 1기 신도시 재정비 마스터플랜 수립 용역’ 착수보고회를 열고, 본격적인 도시정비 전략 마련에 나섰다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 마스터플랜은 1기 신도시 중 부천시가 처음으로 수립하는 것으로, 중동 신도시의 미래 비전을 제시하고 이를 실현할 수 있는 구체적인 방안을 담고 있다.
계획안에는 중동 신도시 전역을 대상으로 문화생활축, 친환경 물길축, 보행 녹지축, 공원축, 생활 SOC(일상생활에 필요한 인프라와 삶의 기본전제가 되는 시설)축, 통경·바람길축, 고층 유도축, 적정 건축밀도 등이 유기적으로 연결된 도시공간 구조가 포함된다.

또한, 부천시가 지난 19일을 ‘빗물받이 일제정비의 날’로 지정하고, 전체 직원 중 약 3분의 1을 투입해 집중 정비를 실시했다고 밝혔다.
