전북대학교병원이 국가통합 바이오 빅데이터 사업을 본격적으로 시작했다.
보건복지부가 주관하는 '국가통합 바이오 빅데이터 구축' 사업은 정밀 의료 연구 및 바이오헬스 산업 발전을 위한 핵심 인프라를 구축하는 대형 국가 프로젝트다.
2028년까지 총 5년간 진행되며 총 77만 2,000명의 유전체와 임상 데이터를 수집, 개인 맞춤형 의료 서비스 개발과 의료 혁신 실현이 목표다.
