[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 지난 27일 합천군 고대 역사문화권에 대한 전략적 검토와 함께 역사문화권 정비사업 공모 대응을 위한 ‘합천군 역사문화권 전략계획 수립 연구용역’ 중간보고회를 개최했다.
이날 보고회는 김윤철 군수를 비롯한 경제문화국장, 관련 부서장, 자문위원 등20여명이 참석했다. 합천군 역사문화권 전략계획 수립용역은 국가유산청 역사문화권 정비사업의 일환으로 진행하고 있다.
이번 중간보고회를 통해 역사문화환경에 대한 기초조사와 분석을 바탕으로 핵심유적 중심의 주요 권역을 설정하고, 향후 정비 시행계획 수립을 위한 정비구역 우선순위 후보지를 도출했다.
국가유산청에서 주관하는 역사문화권 정비사업은 고대 역사문화권에 대한 연구와 발굴, 복원, 육성 등을 통해 역사적 가치를 재조명하고 지역의 역사문화 및 지역경제 활성화 등 지역발전을 도모하는 사업이다.
김윤철 합천군수는 “합천군은 삼국부터 조선시대까지 우수한 문화유산을 보유하고 있는 고장이지만 역사자원으로 활용하기 위해서 체계적이고 조직적인 정비가 필요하다”며 “이번 용역을 통해 합천군 문화유산을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 장기적인 마스터 플랜을 마련하고, 국가유산청 공모 계획에 따라 역사문화권 정비사업을 단계적으로 잘 준비하겠다”고 말했다.
