진주시, 농·어업인 수당 지급 개시

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 농·어촌의 지속가능한 발전과 공익적 기능 증진을 위한 농·어업인수당을 지급했다고 30일 밝혔다.

이번 지원 대상은 진주시에 거주하면서 농·어업경영체에 등록되어있는 경영주와 공동경영주로 지난 2월 3일부터 3월 14일 신청한 2만5706명이 신청했다.

진주시는 신청기간 후 신청자에 대한 종사요건, 소득기준 등 검증 기간을 거쳐 2만4305명을 대상자로 선정해 각 30만 원씩 총 72억9150만 원을 지급했다.

지급 방법은 개인별 계좌로 현금 지급이며, 개인 사유로 계좌 사용이 불가능한 대상자의 경우 선불카드로 오는 7월 21일부터 지급할 예정이다.

하지만 선불카드는 경남도 내 사업장에서 올 연말까지 사용할 수 있으며, 골프장, 당구장, 노래방, 유흥업종, 사행업종 등 일부 업종에서는 사용이 제한된다.

진주시 관계자는 “농업인수당 지원을 통해 농업인의 소득 안정과 지역경제 활성화에 조금이나마 보탬이 되길바란다”고 말했다.
