(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 7일 특수학교 학부모네트워크-교육감 간담회를 시작으로 ‘2025년 지역별 학부모네트워크 간담회’ 일정을 본격 시작했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 올해 간담회는 유치원, 초·중·고, 특수학교 학부모 대표를 대상으로 총 11회에 걸쳐 진행된다.
인천시교육청은 학부모의 접근성과 참여 편의를 높이기 위해 지역별로 간담회 장소를 세분화하고, 교육감과의 질의응답 시간을 확대하는 등 실효성을 강화했다.
일부 간담회는 특성화고 진로 정보를 연계해 학부모의 이해를 돕는다.
특수학교 간담회에서는 특수학교 개교, 특수학급 신설, 교육실무사 배치 확대, 시설 개선 등 주요 현안이 논의됐다.
도성훈 교육감은 현장의 질문에 직접 답하며 실질적인 소통을 이어갔다.
시교육청은 간담회에서 수렴된 의견을 관련 부서에 신속히 공유하고, 정책 반영 여부 및 이행 상황을 체계적으로 점검할 계획이다.
도성훈 교육감은 “인천교육의 방향을 학부모와 함께 모색하고, 간담회 결과가 실질적인 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
또한, 인천시교육청이 8일, 2025년 상반기 동안 초·중·고 22개교를 대상으로 실시한 ‘찾아가는 개인정보 보호 컨설팅’을 성공적으로 마쳤다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 컨설팅은 학교 현장의 개인정보 처리 실태를 점검하고, 실무 중심의 개선 방안을 제시해 개인정보 보호 수준을 높이는 한편, 업무에 어려움을 겪는 교사의 부담 해소를 위해 추진됐다.
컨설팅에서는 개인정보 동의서, 파일 관리, 수탁자 관리·감독 △처리 방침 및 내부관리계획, 목적 외 이용 및 제 3자 제공, 파기 등 학교 개인정보 보호 전반에 걸쳐 실질적이고 구체적인 진단이 이뤄졌으며, 학교 여건에 맞춘 맞춤형 지원을 제공했다.
참여 교직원들은 “개인정보 업무 관련 궁금증이 해소됐다”며 “생각하지 못했던 부분까지 점검할 수 있어 유익했다”고 소감을 전했다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “개인정보 보호는 디지털 시대의 기본 가치이자 교육 신뢰의 핵심”이라며 “현장 중심의 실질적 지원을 계속 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 인천시교육청은 이번 컨설팅에서 수집한 사례와 피드백을 바탕으로 하반기에는 점검 리스트 제공, 맞춤형 매뉴얼 개발 등 개인정보 보호 문화를 지속해서 확산해 나갈 계획이다.
