(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 최근 2025년 상반기 (제1회) ESG 경영자문위원회 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
공단에 따르면, ESG 경영자문위원회는 환경단체 활동가, 학계, 법조계 등 외부 전문가 6명과 내부위원 2명으로 구성된 총 8인의 자문기구로, ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영의 정책 방향 설정과 실행 과제에 대한 전문적 자문을 수행하고 있다.
이번 회의에서는 2025년도 상반기 ESG 경영 추진실적, 전략과제 이행 및 추진현황 점검, 우수사례 및 대외 수상·인증 실적 등이 보고됐으며, 자문위원들은 이에 대해 다양한 실무적 조언과 개선 의견을 제시하며, ESG 경영의 내실화를 위한 의견을 제언했다.
특히 자문위원들은 ESG 경영이 조직 전반에 내재화될 수 있도록 실행 기반을 강화할 필요성을 강조했으며, 지역사회 소통 확대, 이해관계자 참여 강화 등 공공기관의 책무를 반영한 중장기 전략 수립의 중요성도 함께 언급했다.

또한, 부평구시설관리공단(이하 ‘공단’)이 오는 8월 29일까지, 2026년도 예산에 반영할 주민행복제안을 공모한다고 밝혔다.
공단에 따르면, 주민행복제안제도는 공단 시설물 이용 과정에서 느낀 개선 필요 사항을 주민이 직접 제안하고, 예산에 반영하여 실현하는 참여형 제도로, 공단은 타당성 검토와 심사위원회 평가를 거쳐 우수 제안을 2026년도 사업 운영에 반영할 계획이다.
신청 자격은 부평구에 거주하거나, 부평구 내 직장 또는 학교에 소속된 누구나 가능하며, 제안 대상은 공단이 운영하는 공영주차장, 체육시설, 현수막 게시대, 시민게시판, 보안등, 노인여가시설 등 주요 시설물과 관련된 사업이다.
