【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 남구청은 지난 16일, 경인라이온스클럽(회장 오정민), 한아름봉사단(단장 이동민)과 함께 전세사기 피해주택의 주거환경 개선을 위한 민관 협력 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 전세사기 피해가 집중된 남구 지역 내 방치된 임대주택의 열악한 환경을 개선하고, 피해자들의 2차 피해를 최소화하기 위해 마련됐다.
현재 일부 피해자들은 여전히 해당 주택에 거주 중이며, 도어락과 공동현관이 파손되거나 공용시설이 관리되지 않는 등 생활안전을 위협받고 있는 상황이다.
이에 따라 한아름봉사단은 도배, 장판, 전기설비 교체 등 주택 수리에 직접 나서고, 경인라이온스클럽은 자재와 비용을 지원하며 사업을 뒷받침할 예정이다. 남구청은 피해 가구 추천과 행정 지원을 맡아 주거환경 개선 사업이 체계적으로 추진될 수 있도록 협력한다.
아울러 남구청은 전세사기 피해자가 직접 온라인을 통해 도움을 요청할 수 있도록 ‘일사천리 모두 여기에’ 플랫폼(www.namgu1472.kr)을 운영 중이다. 이 플랫폼을 통해 피해 접수부터 개선 요청까지의 절차를 간편하게 처리할 수 있다.
앞서 남구청은 지난 5월, 전세사기 피해자 및 관계자들과 간담회를 열어 실태를 파악하고, 7월에는 남구의회와 함께 ‘전세사기 피해자 지원 및 주거안정에 관한 조례’를 제정해 제도적 기반을 마련했다. 현재까지 이사비와 긴급생계비 등을 지원하며 피해 임차인의 회복을 도와왔다.
조재구 남구청장은 “전세사기 피해자들이 겪고 있는 어려움에 깊이 공감하며, 민간자원을 연계한 주거환경 개선으로 실질적인 도움이 되도록 적극 대응하겠다”고 밝혔다.
