인천검단선사박물관, 여름방학 교육 ‘선사시대 시간여행’과 ‘우리동네 고고학자’ 운영

(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시 검단선사박물관이 오는 8월 1일부터 12일까지 2주간 여름방학 교육 ‘선사시대 시간여행’과 ‘우리동네 고고학자’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

검단선사박물관에 따르면, 이번 여름방학 교육은 6세부터 초등학교 6학년까지 무료로 참여할 수 있으며, ‘선사시대 시간여행’은 화요일, ‘우리동네 고고학자’는 금요일에 각각 오전과 오후 2회차로 운영된다.

‘선사시대 시간여행’은 6세부터 초등학교 2학년 어린이를 대상으로 한 교육프로그램으로, 선사시대에 대해 알아보고 나만의 연필꽂이를 만드는 체험이다. 

‘우리동네 고고학자’는 초등학교 3학년부터 6학년 어린이까지 참여할 수 있는 교육프로그램으로, 유물 발굴 및 복원체험 활동을 통해 고고학자 직업을 경험해 볼 수 있다. 

조규명 시 검단선사박물관장은 “선사시대와 고고학을 주제로 한 이번 프로그램을 통해 어린이들이 역사와 더욱 가까워지는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다. 

교육 신청 방법은 인천시 통합예약시스템 누리집에서 선착순으로 회차당 10명을 모집하며, 1차 신청은 7월 28일부터 30일까지, 2차 신청은 8월 4일부터 6일까지 진행된다.

Incheon Geomdan Prehistoric Museum announced that it will operate the summer vacation education 'Prehistoric Time Travel' and 'Our Neighborhood Archaeologist' for two weeks from August 1 to 12.

According to Geomdan Prehistoric Museum, this summer vacation education is free for children from 6 years old to 6th grade of elementary school, and 'Prehistoric Time Travel' will be operated on Tuesdays and 'Our Neighborhood Archaeologist' will be operated twice, in the morning and afternoon, on Fridays.

‘Prehistoric Time Travel’ is an educational program for children from 6 years old to 2nd grade in elementary school, where they can learn about prehistoric times and make their own pencil holder.

‘Our Neighborhood Archaeologist’ is an educational program for children from 3rd to 6th grade in elementary school, where they can experience the job of an archaeologist through excavation and restoration activities.

Director of the Geomdan Prehistoric Museum, Cho Gyu-myeong, said, “I hope that this program themed on prehistoric times and archaeology will be a time for children to become closer to history.”

To apply for the education, 10 people will be recruited per session on a first-come, first-served basis on the Incheon City Integrated Reservation System website. The first round of applications will be from July 28 to 30, and the second round will be from August 4 to 6.
