【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 지난 7월 22일 오후 2시, 소망관 4층 대강의실에서 전문대학 혁신지원사업의 일환인 ‘2025 전공(학생) 글로벌 역량 강화 프로그램’ 해외연수 파견식을 개최했다.

이번 프로그램은 응급구조과, 물리치료과, 뷰티디자인과, 호텔조리제빵바리스타과 등 4개 학과 재학생 65명을 대상으로 하며, 학과별 전공 역량 향상과 글로벌 현장 체험을 목적으로 마련됐다. 연수는 7월 28일 응급구조과 학생들의 출국을 시작으로 일본 오사카 일대에서 순차적으로 진행된다.
각 학과는 일본 현지에서 특화된 프로그램을 통해 실무 역량을 강화한다.
▲응급구조과는 일본의 선진 응급의료 및 방재 시스템을 중심으로 한 이론 교육과 실무 견학을 통해 응급 대응 능력을 배양하며, ▲뷰티디자인과는 글로벌 뷰티 기업 탐방과 전문가 워크숍을 통해 최신 트렌드와 기술을 체험하고,▲호텔조리제빵바리스타과는 일본의 식문화와 외식산업을 직접 체험하며 현장 실습을 통해 실무 능력을 향상시킨다.
▲물리치료과는 재활 전문 병원 및 학회 방문을 통해 일본의 재활복지 체계와 첨단 로봇재활 장비를 경험하게 된다.
학생들은 연수 기간 동안 각 전공과 연계된 일본 내 유관 산업체와 기관을 방문해 기업 탐방, 전문가 특강, 실습 프로그램 등에 참여하며 글로벌 감각을 키울 예정이다.
최현아 국제교류교육센터장은 “선발된 학생들에게 진심으로 축하를 전하며, 이번 연수가 국제화 시대를 살아갈 당당한 글로벌 인재로 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
김병용 산학협력단장은 “전공과 연계된 실질적인 해외 현장 경험은 졸업 후 실무 적응력과 경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 기회”라며 “이번 연수를 통해 글로벌 감각을 넓히고 미래 사회를 이끌어갈 인재로 성장하길 바란다”고 전했다.
한편, 선린대학교의 ‘전공(학생) 글로벌 역량 강화 프로그램’은 전공 기반 해외 산업체 탐방, 실습, 전문가 특강 등을 통해 학생들의 국제적 직무역량과 실무능력 향상을 도모하는 핵심 글로벌 교육사업으로 운영되고 있다.

Seonlin University Holds Overseas Training Dispatch Ceremony for Cultivating Global Talent
On July 22nd at 2:00 PM, Seonlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) held the ‘2025 Major (Student) Global Capacity Enhancement Program’ Overseas Training Dispatch Ceremony as part of the Junior College Innovation Support Project in the main lecture room on the 4th floor of Somang Hall.
This program is for 65 students from 4 departments including the Department of Emergency Medical Services, Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Beauty Design, and Department of Hotel Cooking, Bakery, and Barista, and is designed for the purpose of improving major capacity and experiencing global field work. The training will begin with the departure of the Department of Emergency Medical Services students on July 28th and will be conducted sequentially in the Osaka, Japan area.
Each department will strengthen their practical capacity through specialized programs in Japan. ▲The Emergency Rescue Department cultivates emergency response capabilities through theoretical education and practical field trips centered on Japan’s advanced emergency medical and disaster prevention systems,
▲The Beauty Design Department experiences the latest trends and technologies through global beauty company visits and expert workshops,
▲The Hotel Cooking, Bakery, and Barista Department directly experiences Japan’s food culture and restaurant industry and improves practical capabilities through on-site training.
▲The Physical Therapy Department experiences Japan’s rehabilitation welfare system and cutting-edge robotic rehabilitation equipment through visits to rehabilitation hospitals and academic societies.
During the training period, students will visit related industries and organizations in Japan related to each major and participate in company visits, expert lectures, and practical programs to develop a global sense.
Choi Hyun-ah, Director of the International Exchange Education Center, said, “I sincerely congratulate the selected students and hope that this training will be an opportunity for them to grow into confident global talents who will live in the era of globalization.”
Kim Byeong-yong, the head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group, said, “Practical overseas field experience related to the major is an important opportunity to enhance practical adaptability and competitiveness after graduation,” and added, “I hope that through this training, students will broaden their global awareness and grow into talents who will lead the future society.” Meanwhile, Sunlin University’s ‘Major (Student) Global Competency Enhancement Program’ is operated as a core global education project that seeks to enhance students’ international job competency and practical skills through major-based overseas industry visits, practical training, and expert lectures.
