대구도시개발공사, 대구행복진흥원에 폭염 대응 물품 후원

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원(이하 대구행복진흥원)은 25일 대구도시개발공사로부터 500만 원 상당의 폭염 대응 물품 540개를 후원받았다. 

전달된 물품은 산하 소속시설의 생활인과 이용자들에게 배부될 예정이다.

이번 후원 물품은 무더위에 취약한 노인과 장애인의 온열질환 예방을 위한 핸디형 선풍기, 양우산, 쿨스카프 등이다.

대구도시개발공사는 지난해와 올해에도 방한용품을 꾸준히 지원하며 지역사회 복지 증진에 힘쓰고 있다.

정명섭 대구도시개발공사 사장은 “작은 도움이지만 무더운 여름을 견디는 분들께 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 따뜻한 나눔을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.

배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “꾸준한 후원에 감사하며, 물품은 생활인과 이용자들의 건강과 안전을 위해 소중히 사용하겠다”고 밝혔다.
