【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국건강관리협회 대구광역시지부(본부장 김태욱, 이하 '건협 대구')가 지난 24일, 제일기독종합사회복지관과 함께 지역 내 거동이 불편한 독거노인을 위한 반찬 배달 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

이번 봉사는 연일 계속되는 무더위 속에서 건강관리에 취약한 독거노인들의 영양 불균형을 해소하고, 정서적 안정을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

건협 대구 직원들은 도시락 반찬을 직접 전달하며 어르신들의 안부를 확인하는 시간을 가졌다.

건협 대구는 이 같은 반찬 배달 봉사를 매월 두 차례 정기적으로 이어오고 있으며, 일회성 활동을 넘어 지역사회에 실질적인 도움을 주는 상시 나눔 실천으로 평가받고 있다.

김태욱 본부장은 “작은 정성이지만 어르신들에게 따뜻한 위로가 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회에 건강한 온기를 전할 수 있도록 지속적인 나눔 활동에 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.
