(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 28일부터 31일까지 3박 4일 일정으로, 지역 청소년들이 다양한 문화적 경험을 통해 국제 감각을 키우고 진로 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 ‘2025 인천광역시 청소년 글로벌 문화체험 연수’를 일본 도쿄 일원에서 진행한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 연수에는 중·고등학생과 학교 밖 청소년 등 총 12명이 참여하며, 다양한 환경에서 성장했지만 미래에 대한 열정과 호기심을 공통으로 지니고 있다.
본격적인 해외 일정에 앞서 참가자들은 사전교육을 통해 안전수칙과 일정 전반을 숙지하고, 참가자 간 친밀감을 형성한 뒤 본격적인 해외 일정에 돌입한다.
도쿄 현지에서 청소년들은 일본의 학교를 탐방하고, 현지 문화와 산업, 재난 대응 체계, 도시 인프라 등 실생활과 밀접한 주제를 중심으로 체험 중심의 학습이 이뤄진다. 청소년들은 이를 통해 새로운 시각을 넓히고, 스스로의 진로에 대해 성찰하는 계기를 갖게 된다.
또, 매일 일정을 마친 후에는 평가회의를 열어 하루의 활동을 되짚고, 소감을 나누며 서로의 성장을 응원하는 시간도 마련된다.

‘방학 영어캠프’는 7월 28일부터 8월 8일까지 2주간 남부·북부·중부 각 권역별 지정된 3개 대학에서 진행된다.
인천시는 인천인재평생교육진흥원과 인천대학교, 경인교육대학교, 인하대학교 등 지역 대표 대학들과 긴밀히 협력해 프로그램을 준비했다.
참가 학생들은 각 대학 캠퍼스에서 약 150명씩 5일 동안 원어민 강사와 함께 수업을 받으며, 대학 캠퍼스에서 직접 영어를 배우는 현장감과 생동감을 경험할 예정이다.
프로그램은 영어 기반 팀별 과제 수행, 원어민과 함께하는 다양한 영어 표현 학습, 영어 기반 놀이 활동 등 재미와 도전을 동시에 느낄 수 있는 체험 중심 활동으로 구성된다.
