브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 인천국제공항공사는 심야시간 공항 이용객 편의 개선을 위해 오는 8월 1일 오후부터 서울 심야공항버스 노선을 전면 개편해 운행권역을 확대할 계획이라고 30일 밝혔다.
이번에 개편하는 노선은 △N6002(청량리역) △N6703(광나루역) △N6000(강남고속터미널) 3개 노선이다.
N6002번 노선은 N6001(서울역)번 노선과 중복되던 구간을 통합해 운영함으로써 효율성을 높이는 동시에, 홍대입구·광화문 등 외국인 관광객 수요가 높고 유동인구가 많은 지역을 중심으로 경유지를 변경해 운행한다.
N6703번 노선은 기존 잠실롯데월드에서 광나루역까지 연장 개편, 이전에 심야공항버스 운행이 없었던 강변역(동서울터미널), 광나루역 등 서울 동부권까지 많은 시민들의 심야 공항 접근성이 강화될 전망이다.
더불어 작년 말 4단계 사업 완료 이후 항공사 이전으로 제2여객터미널 여객 수요가 늘어날 것을 고려해, 기존 제1여객터미널 전용 노선이었던 N6000번 노선은 제2여객터미널까지 연장해 운행한다.
심야공항버스는 안정적인 좌석 확보와 편안한 대기를 위해 예매제로 운영되며, 현장 매표소 또는 티머니GO 앱을 통해 승차권을 사전 구매 후 이용이 가능하다.
N6000, N6002 노선은 향후 모바일예매 도입 예정으로, 현재는 현장 매표소 발권만 가능하다.
인천국제공항공사 이학재 사장은 “이번 심야버스 노선 개편은 심야 시간대 공항 접근성을 개선하고, 여객 수요에 선제적으로 대응하기 위한 조치”라며, “앞으로도 여객 중심의 대중교통 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

To ensure stable seating and a comfortable wait, the late-night airport bus operates on a reservation system. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the on-site ticket booth or via the T-money GO app.
