【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청은 7일 오전 10시 지역기업과의 연계를 통해 직업계고 학생들의 취업을 활성화하고자 ‘지역기업 네트워크 CEO 간담회’를 개최했다.
지난해부터 이어온 지역 기업 대표들과의 정기 협력 행사로, 직업교육의 발전 방향을 논의하고 미래 기술인재 육성을 위한 유기적인 협력 체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.
올해 두 번째로 열린 간담회는 강은희 대구시교육감을 비롯해 대구공업고, 영남공업고 교장, 시교육청 관계자들이 참석했으며, 성서산업단지에 입주한 니카코리아㈜ 대구공장에서 열렸다.
현장에는 니카코리아㈜, 금오캐스트㈜, 농업회사법인㈜영풍, ㈜우진하이텍 등 4개 기업 대표 및 임원, 성서산업단지관리공단 이사장도 함께했다.
참석자들은 일본계 투자기업인 니카코리아㈜ 생산 공장을 직접 둘러보며 직업계고 학생들의 현장실습이 안전하게 이루어질 수 있도록 당부했고, 이후 간담회를 통해 ▲맞춤형 산학협력 방안, ▲직업계고 출신 재직자 성장 방안, ▲고졸 취업 활성화를 통한 지역 발전 방향 등을 논의했다.
강은희 교육감은 “우리 학생들이 고숙련 기술인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지역기업이 함께 힘써주고 있어 감사드린다”며 “아이들이 지역에 정착해 미래 산업을 이끌 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 앞으로도 채용과 현장실습에 적극 협조해 달라”고 당부했다.

The attendees toured the production plant of Nika Korea, a Japanese investment company, and urged them to ensure the safety of vocational high school students' on-the-job training. Following the meeting, they discussed tailored plans for industry-academia cooperation, growth strategies for vocational high school graduates, and regional development through revitalizing high school graduate employment.
Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, "I am grateful to local businesses for their dedication to helping our students grow into highly skilled technical talents. I urge your continued cooperation in hiring and on-the-job training so that these students can settle in the region and grow into leaders of future industries."
