【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구(구청장 김대권)가 대표 캐릭터 '뚜비'를 테마로 한 댄스대회의 참가팀을 모집한다고 19일 밝혔다.
'2025 제1회 뚜비 댄스대회'는 국내 최초로 지방자치단체 캐릭터의 전용곡을 활용한 댄스 경연대회다.
뚜비와 지역 청소년들 간의 친밀감을 높이고, 젊은 세대의 창의적 재능을 발산할 수 있는 무대를 마련하고자 기획됐다.
만 9세부터 24세까지의 청소년으로 구성된 2인 이상의 댄스팀은 누구나 참가할 수 있다.
참가 희망팀은 오는 9월 30일까지 '뚜비송'을 활용한 창작 안무 영상과 신청서를 운영사무국 이메일(dance.ddubi@gmail.com)로 제출하면 된다.
대회는 2단계로 진행된다. 먼저 제출된 영상을 통한 예선 심사를 거쳐 10팀을 선발한 후, 본선 무대는 10월 18일 오후 3시부터 6시까지 대구스타디움 서편광장 메인무대에서 열린다.
본선은 수성구 평생학습축제와 함께 개최돼 시민들에게 풍성한 볼거리를 선사할 예정이다.
시상 규모도 상당하다. 총 10팀을 대상으로 820만원 상당의 상금과 뚜비 기념품이 수여된다. 대상팀에게는 300만원, 최우수상팀에게는 200만원이 주어지며, 우수상 2팀에게는 각각 100만원, 나머지 6팀에게는 각각 20만원의 상금이 지급된다.
특히 모든 수상팀은 '뚜비 프렌즈'로 임명되어 향후 뚜비 관련 홍보 활동에도 참여할 기회를 얻게 된다.
'SWF2(스트릿 우먼 파이터2)' 출연으로 대중들에게 친숙한 카프리(CAPRI)를 비롯해 오데이(OHDAY), 쏘진(SSOJIN), 힙제이(HIP-J) 등 현역에서 활발히 활동하는 전문 댄서들이 심사를 맡는다.
김대권 수성구청장은 "청소년들의 끼와 열정이 뚜비의 밝은 에너지와 만나 수성구만의 특별한 문화행사로 자리잡길 기대한다"면서 "이번 대회를 통해 뚜비가 단순한 캐릭터를 넛어 지역 청소년들과 함께 성장하는 친구가 되었으면 좋겠다"고 말했다.

Daegu's Suseong District (Mayor Kim Dae-kwon) announced on the 19th that it is recruiting teams for a dance competition themed around its representative character, "Ddubi."
The "2025 1st Ddubi Dance Competition" is the first dance competition in Korea to utilize songs dedicated to local government characters.

The competition will be held in two stages. After a preliminary screening of submitted videos, 10 teams will be selected. The finals will take place on October 18th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the main stage at Daegu Stadium's West Plaza.
The finals will be held in conjunction with the Suseong-gu Lifelong Learning Festival, providing a rich entertainment experience for citizens.
The awards are substantial. A total of 8.2 million won in prize money and Ddubee souvenirs will be awarded to the 10 teams. The grand prize winner will receive 3 million won, the best winner 2 million won, the two excellence winners 1 million won each, and the remaining six teams 200,000 won each.
Notably, all winning teams will be named "Ddubee Friends" and have the opportunity to participate in future Ddubee promotional activities.
The judges include active professional dancers like Capri, who is familiar to the public through her appearance on "SWF2 (Street Woman Fighter 2)," as well as OHDAY, SSOJIN, and HIP-J.
Suseong-gu District Mayor Kim Dae-kwon said, "I hope that the talent and passion of our youth, combined with Ddubi's bright energy, will establish this event as a unique cultural event unique to Suseong-gu. I hope that through this competition, Ddubi will become a friend who grows with local youth, nurturing their simple character."
