【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=(재)영덕문화관광재단은 오는 9월 19일부터 21일까지 영덕읍 덕곡천 일원에서 열리는 ‘2025 영덕생활문화축제’의 폐막 행사 ‘야시홀 선셋퍼레이드’(9월 21일) 참가자를 모집한다고 20일 밝혔다.

영덕생활문화축제는 유명 가수와 밴드의 라이브 공연, 지역민이 직접 참여하는 생활문화 전시와 체험 부스가 어우러지는 대규모 야간 축제로, 매년 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 올해 축제의 마지막을 장식할 ‘야시홀 선셋퍼레이드’는 영덕의 옛 지명 ‘야시홀’에서 이름을 따왔다.
퍼레이드는 21일 오후 5시, 덕곡천 어린이공원에서 출발해 읍내를 거쳐 다시 덕곡천으로 돌아오는 코스로 진행되며, 아름다운 일몰을 배경으로 펼쳐진다. 가족, 친구, 동호회 등 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 가장(코스프레) 행렬을 통해 개성과 끼를 마음껏 발산할 수 있다.
퍼레이드 종료 후에는 덕곡천 메인 무대에서 ‘퍼포먼스 콘테스트’가 이어진다. 참가자들은 1분 30초 이내의 자유 퍼포먼스를 선보이며, 심사를 거쳐 총 180만 원의 상금이 수여된다. 1등은 100만 원, 2등 30만 원, 3등 20만 원, 4등 3팀은 각각 10만 원을 받는다.
영덕문화관광재단 관계자는 “올해 영덕생활문화축제의 대미를 장식하는 선셋퍼레이드인 만큼, 흥과 끼가 넘치는 많은 분들의 참여를 기대한다”고 말했다.
