이번 상담회는 광양, 포항, 서울 등 3개 사업장에서 진행됐으며, 국민은행, 삼성증권, 교보생명 등 은행·증권·보험 분야 21개 금융기관이 참여했다.
행사에 참여한 직원들은 퇴직연금 제도(DB·DC), 개인형 퇴직연금(IRP), 노후설계, 금융상품 운용 등 다양한 주제에 대해 상담을 받았다. 특히 젊은 직원들은 재테크·자산형성에, 중·장년층 직원들은 퇴직연금·노후설계에 집중하는 등 세대별 수요가 뚜렷하게 나타났다.
사전 예약 없이 점심시간이나 퇴근 후 자유롭게 방문할 수 있도록 운영해 접근성을 높였으며, 현장에 상주한 금융기관 상담사들이 1:1 맞춤형 상담을 제공해 큰 호응을 얻었다.
상담에 참여한 한 포항제철소 직원은 “퇴직연금 운용이 막연했는데 전문가와 직접 상담하며 구체적인 실행 방안을 마련할 수 있었다”고 소감을 전했다.
포스코 관계자는 “퇴직연금 제도가 복잡하게 느껴진다는 직원들의 의견을 반영해 이번 상담회를 마련했다”며, “퇴직 이후에도 안정적으로 제2의 삶을 준비할 수 있도록 관련 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
