【브레이크뉴스 울릉】전종환 기자=울릉군은 지난 18일부터 21일까지 2025년 을지연습을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 18일 새벽 공무원 비상소집으로 시작, 유사시 지방정부기능연속성 유지를 위한 소산훈련과 전시상황을 가정한최초상황보고를 진행했다.
이어 통합방위태세 확립을 위해 울릉군 통합방위협의회를 개최하고적 잠수함에 의한 여객선 피격상황을 가정한 도상훈련을실시해, 유사시 실질적인 주민 구조와 적 제압 방안에 대해 논의했다.
또 군청 피격상황을 가정해 연습 종료 시까지 청사가아닌 별도 장소에 상황실을 설치·운영하며 주민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위한 행정기능 유지체계를 점검했다.
특히 19일에는전 공무원을 대상으로전시 비상급식체험 훈련을 실시하여, 전시상황에서급식 조달의 어려움과 생활 여건 변화를 직접경험함으로써 전시상황에 대한 이해도를 높였다.

셋째 날인 20일에는 도서지역 특성을 반영하여 통합방위작전 수행 능력 제고를위한 육·해상 상황을 설정, 울릉군청·울릉경찰서·해군제118조기경보전대·공군제8355부대·동해해경 울릉파출소·울릉119안전센터·울릉보건의료원 등 총 6개 기관에서 100여 명이 참여한 실제 훈련을 실시했다.

이번 훈련은 해군 제118조기경보전대와 해경이 실제 해상작전 훈련을 펼친 뒤, 육상 테러상황에 대응하는 훈련을 진행했다. 특히 기존훈련 방식을벗어나현장훈련과 군부대 지휘통제실 내 실시간 현장상황 중계를 통한 지휘통제훈련이 동시에 진행하여, 유사시즉각적인 지원이 어려운울릉군의 여건에 맞는 실질적 훈련을 구현하였다. 이를 통해 지역 통합방위 능력을 한층 강화한 것으로 평가된다.
남한권 울릉군수는 “동해의 유일섬인 울릉의 모든 공직자는 국가 안보의 최전선에있다는 사명감을 가지고, 어떠한 상황이 발생하더라도 울릉 군민의 생명과 안전을위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
