【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 교수학습지원센터가 지난 20일 포항 라한호텔에서 전임교수를 대상으로 '2025년도 혁신교수법 워크숍 – 작은 변화가 큰 힘, 행복교육의 비밀'을 개최했다. 이번 워크숍은 오전 9시 30분부터 오후 6시까지 진행되었으며, 대학혁신지원사업의 일환으로 마련됐다.

‘작은 변화가 큰 힘, 행복교육의 비밀’을 주제로 열린 이번 행사는 AI·디지털 전환(DX) 시대에 발맞춰 다양한 학생들을 위한 혁신적 교수법을 개발하고 운영할 수 있도록 교수자의 역량 강화를 목표로 했다.
워크숍은 △홍영일 재미와 의미연구소 대표의 ‘교수법에도 온도가 있다’, ‘진화하는 ChatGPT 따라잡기’ △김동일 서울대 교수의 ‘느린학습자 대학생을 위한 맞춤형 학습지도 및 교수 전략’ △심미자 부산디지털대 교수의 ‘성인학습자 맞춤형 학습지도 전략’ 등 네 가지 특강으로 구성됐다.
현진숙 교수학습지원센터장은 “AI를 비롯해 최근 교육 현장에서 주목받는 이슈를 교수님들의 요구에 맞춰 담아냈다”며 “전문성을 갖춘 강사진과 함께 교수자의 혁신 역량을 높이는 뜻깊은 자리였다”고 강조했다.
참가자들은 이번 워크숍을 통해 최신 AI 활용 교수법과 다양한 학습자 특성에 대한 이해를 넓힐 수 있었으며, 앞으로 교육 현장에서 AI 교수매체를 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 자신감을 얻게 되었다고 입을 모았다.
한편, 선린대학교 교수학습지원센터는 학생 학습 역량 강화와 교수진 전문성 향상을 위해 참여형 학습 지원 프로그램과 맞춤형 교수 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하고 있다.

Sunlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) Teaching and Learning Support Center hosted the "2025 Innovative Teaching Workshop – Small Changes Have Great Power, the Secret to Happy Education" for full-time faculty at the Lahan Hotel in Pohang on the 20th. The workshop, held from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, was organized as part of the University Innovation Support Project.
Themed "Small Changes Have Great Power, the Secret to Happy Education," the event aimed to strengthen faculty capacity to develop and implement innovative teaching methods for diverse students in line with the era of AI and digital transformation (DX).
The workshop consisted of four special lectures: "There's a Temperature to Teaching Methods" and "Catching Up with the Evolving ChatGPT" by Hong Young-il, Director of the Fun and Meaning Research Institute; "Customized Learning Guidance and Teaching Strategies for Slow-Learning University Students" by Professor Kim Dong-il of Seoul National University; and "Customized Learning Guidance Strategies for Adult Learners" by Professor Shim Mi-ja of Busan Digital University.
Hyun Jin-sook, Director of the Teaching and Learning Support Center, emphasized, "We addressed recent hot topics in education, including AI, in response to professors' needs. This was a meaningful opportunity to enhance instructors' innovative capabilities with the help of our expert instructors."
Participants unanimously expressed that this workshop broadened their understanding of cutting-edge AI-based teaching methods and diverse learner characteristics, and gained the confidence to actively utilize AI teaching media in educational settings.
Meanwhile, the Teaching and Learning Support Center at Sunlin University continues to operate participatory learning support programs and customized teaching support programs to enhance student learning capabilities and faculty expertise.
